Mediavania helps readers discover thoughtful gaming writing and sends every read back to its creator. We review each source to keep that promise focused and useful.

A strong fit

Criticism, essays, and close readings
Industry, labor, and design analysis
Games history, preservation, art, and culture
Independent blogs and newsletter-style voices
A working RSS feed and reasonably regular output

Usually not a fit

Pure news aggregation or copied summaries
Affiliate-first or search-engine spam
Low-effort listicles and templated content
Feeds where gaming is incidental or rare
Sources that repeatedly mislead readers

What happens after submission

We check the feed, publication, and your relationship to it. You can follow the status from your dashboard. If we need more context—or decide it is not currently a fit—we’ll explain why so you can respond or improve it.
